Stranger Things actor sets off free pickle beer for a day at Sheboygan brewery

Thanks to a fan-favorite Stranger Things actor, a brewery in Sheboygan is turning things ‘upside down’ with free pickle beer this Saturday following a social media experiment.

The owners of 3 Sheeps Brewing didn’t lie after starting a challenge on social media after releasing their “Dill-ightful Derek” Pickle Pilsner, which was inspired by the character “Delightful” Derek Turnbow on Netflix’s Stranger Things.

3 Sheeps’ idea started with a challenge, “If [we] can get Jake Connelly, the actor who portrays Derek, or any member of the Stranger Things cast to comment on [our] social media post, then we’ll pour ‘Dill-ightful Derek’ free for a day.”

The internet banded together as loyal as The Hellfire Club and started spreading the word.
