Nearly 10 months after its closure, MobCraft Beer has re-opened under new leadership.

The Walker's Point brewery, 505 S. Fifth St., closed in November 2024. Its former CEO, Henry Schwartz, said in a news release at the time that the brewery "reached a point where we could no longer operate as a stand-alone operation."

MobCraft opened again Sept. 12 under new owners Sarah and Michael Halstead, who announced in March that they had bought the location for $160,000.

Sarah Halstead worked at MobCraft for four years, between 2019 and 2023, in HR and the office, she wrote in a Sept. 16 Facebook post.

"... Now my husband and I (with our two kids cheering us on) are stepping out front to bring new energy to this beloved local spot," the Facebook post said.
