Milwaukee Distillery Continues Brandy And Bourbon Innovation

With Wisconsin’s month-long celebration of the brandy cocktail wrapped up, a Milwaukee distillery is already launching its next old fashioned skew.

Central Standard Craft Distillery just launched a bottled Bourbon Old Fashioned Cocktail this October, right after September, which is Brandy Old Fashioned Month for America’s Dairyland.

This comes after the distillery first launched its 1.75 L bottled Brandy Old Fashioned this summer. "The reaction to the brandy was so positive we wanted to make sure we got the bourbon out this fall,” says Pat McQuillan, who co-founded the distillery with Evan Hughes.

“Our Brandy Old Fashioned 1.75 L has been so successful that we’ve launched three more skews: 750 ml Brandy Old Fashioned, 1.75 L Bourbon Old Fashioned and a 750 ml Bourbon Old Fashioned,” says Jim Kanter, chief commercial officer of Central Standard Craft Distillery.
