Eagle Park Brewing is adding event space, more seating to east-side taproom
Eagle Park Brewing Co. has started construction on transforming part of its east-side taproom, 823 E. Hamilton St., into a private event space and additional seating for taproom patrons.
The new event space, which will be open to the general public when it's not in use by private parties, will be in an area that previously was used for brewing. Eagle Park co-owner and brand director Jake Schinker said that production work will be transferred to the brewing and distilling company's Muskego location, S64W15640 Commerce Center Parkway, and construction on the east-side location should be completed by the end of October.
The east-side project was driven by both the number of requests Eagle Park has received for private events, Schinker said, as well as the need for more seating inside in the winter, when the patio and deck are closed.
