On June 13, Lowlands Hospitality Group will debut its Lowlands Belgian Bier Fest, which will bring more than 25 Belgian brewers to the heart of the Wauwatosa Village for a one-day festival coinciding with the group’s 20th anniversary.

Held in the Tosa Village Hart Mills parking lot along the Menomonee River, 7735 Harwood Ave., Wauwatosa, the event is inspired by European-style street festival held at Brussels' Grand-Place central square, with Belgian and Trappist brewers pouring more than 100 rare and exclusive beers.

There will be two tasting sessions (noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.), with brewmasters and multi-generational brewery owners on-site to share stories and the history behind their beers. Belgian-inspired food will be served throughout the grounds, as well.

Tasting tickets are $85 per person (tax and fees not included); designated driver tickets (nonalcoholic offerings only) are $35 per person.
